The fruits and leaves of the prickly pear have been consumed in various forms in Mexico since the times of the Incas. And this is still the case today . Unfortunately, it is not possible to buy prickly pear cactus fresh here. That is why Nopal capsules were developed, which contain the extract from freshly harvested and dried prickly pear cacti.

To produce the powder, the spines are removed from the cactus leaves, which are then dried, finely ground and processed into an extract.
