FAQ´s

How reliable are BE SURE pregnancy tests?
According to clinical studies, the reliability is over 99%.

How do the tests work?
During pregnancy, the body begins to produce the pregnancy hormone HCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) right from the start. This can be detected in increasing quantities in the urine during pregnancy. The BE SURE EARLY TEST is very sensitive and can therefore also detect very small amounts of HCG.

Application of the test?

  1. Take the test stick out of the packaging. Place the pink cap on the other end of the test stick.
  2. Hold the test stick with the suction tip pointing downwards and hold it in your urine stream for at least 10-15 seconds.
  3. Remove the cap from the upper end and replace it on the suction tip. Place the wand on a clean and dry surface.
  4. After just 1 minute, lines will appear on the control window (C) and, if applicable, on the test field (T). You can read the result after approx. 5 minutes.

When can I start a test?
BE SURE pregnancy tests are fast reacting tests that can be used at any time of the day or night from the first day of the missed period. However, you should bear in mind that a high fluid intake could dilute the pregnancy hormone and make the test result more difficult to read.

Can alcohol consumption influence the test result?
No

The test result is negative (not pregnant). What should I do?
If only one line appears in the control window, the pregnancy hormone has not been found in your urine and you are probably not pregnant. Your period should start within the next few days. If this does not happen, you should take another Be Sure Pregnancy Test as you may have misjudged the length of your cycle or your urine may not have contained enough HCG at the time to give a positive result. If you do the second test and no HCG is detected and your period still does not start within the next few days, you should see a doctor.

The test result is positive (pregnant). What should I do now?
Remember that no home pregnancy test can replace a doctor's diagnosis. You should see a doctor as soon as possible, have the result confirmed and seek further advice.

No lines have appeared in the control window. What should I do now?
The result should be displayed within approx. 5 minutes. However, if no result is displayed after 10 minutes, the test is invalid. The reason for this could be that too much or too little urine was used. You should repeat the test with a new stick.

How long does the result remain in the control window (in case I want to show it to someone)?
You can store the result almost forever if you remove the cap from the stick and allow the suction tip to dry out completely before storing the stick.
