Argan oil is a must in the healthy kitchen

Canea argan oil - rich in unsaturated fatty acids

Cold pressing from Morocco

Our high-quality oil comes from the Moroccan argan tree (Argania spinosa). Argan oil has a nutty, musky, slightly smoky flavour. It is a comparatively high-quality and therefore expensive edible oil. Argan oil has a high proportion of unsaturated fatty acids and is rich in alpha-tocopherol. Unsaturated fatty acids can have a positive effect on cholesterol levels. Argan oil from first cold pressing used as cooking oil or consumed pure is therefore a valuable contribution to a healthy diet. The mild, nutty flavour is a guarantee of high quality.

Canea Argan Oil is available in two sizes: in the practical brown 100ml plastic bottle and as a 500ml storage bottle.

Wikipedia (german) quote (June 2025): "Argan oil (also known as argania oil) is an edible oil obtained by pressing the seeds of the ripe berry fruit of the argan tree (Argania spinosa). The areas of the Arganeraie, located exclusively in south-west Morocco, were declared a biosphere reserve by UNESCO in 1998. This was preceded by projects to preserve traditional cultivation, artisanal oil extraction and the preservation of Berber culture in connection with the argan tree, commissioned by the Moroccan royal family and implemented by the German development aid organisation GTZ. The centuries-old knowledge and practices for using the tree and its fruit were recognised as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in November 2014."
